As a former corporate lawyer, Warwick Walsh worked on diverse projects across different jurisdictions with mid and top-tier law firms. Having always had an avid interest in business and entrepreneurship, he started actively exploring business ideas and approaches to innovation. Through this process, he identified numerous pain points experienced by in-house lawyers and law firms, such as a need for more transparency and structure in how lawyers were instructed and engaged, as well as challenges with communication and fee management.

In 2015, Warwick, with his co-founder, Sacha Kirk, established Lawcadia with a vision to create a more efficient and transparent legal market where performance, communication, and project management would be duly recognised and rewarded. From the beginning, Lawcadia was designed as a two-sided platform, providing a structured approach and defined processes for in-house lawyers and law firms.

In response to the evolving legal landscape, Lawcadia launched its automation engine, Lawcadia Intelligence, in 2020. This innovation enhanced efficiency and automation across the platform, driving substantial growth as clients leveraged its reporting and integration features.
